Growing up in the small, rural village of Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, I couldn’t wait to explore different and much bigger places. But never did I think my journey would take me all around the world. From Canada to China, to India to Norway, and my most recent adventure to East-Africa, and now Germany, I feel lucky to have had these opportunities to travel at such a young age (and motivates me to keep going) !
Through my adventures abroad, I have gained perspective toward culture, traditions, and even more about myself and my Canadian background. Through my blog posts I discuss these perspectives further in detail, and how travelling or working abroad has helped shape my values and beliefs, and in some cases, even cause me to question my own morals and traditions.
This blog is my outlet – a way to share my experiences with friends and family from all over the world, all while reminding myself occasionally of how much I have grown over the years. I share a lot of stories, articles, recipes, and photos, and since most of my travels are study/work related, I have dedicated an entire section to posts that speak to agriculture related topics.
Thanks for reading along, let me know what you think in the comment sections of my posts, I love hearing from you and your feedback!
