Last Sunday we paid a visit to Holmenkollbakken, a large ski jumping hill located at Holmenkollen in the Oslo (capital city), Norway. This infrastructure is so large it has a capacity for 30,000 spectators! During our visit, the ski jump was set-up for tourists and offered a steep cable jump from the top to the bottom, at a rapid speed of about 70 km/hr all the way down.

I wanted to go down the cable so badly, however it was a bit too expensive! However, my friends Caitlin and Even both took the plunge and said it was great. To get up to the top we went through a museum, later taking an elevator. It came at a small price but the view was breathtaking! Here are some photos taken from the top – beautiful view of Oslo:
Afterwards we ate lunch outside and enjoyed the sunny weather we have been experiencing here in Norway lately! It was such a nice day – Thanks to Even for driving us and being a great tour guide!
